The Kalamazoo Institute of Arts has two upcoming exhibitions sure to please the spectrum of art enthusiasts in the area. The 2007 West Michigan Area Show continues through May 6. One of the area’s largest juried shows (with a record 787 entries this year), this annual exhibition presents examples of the best art produced in 14 counties throughout West Michigan. The second exhibition, the 2007 High School Competition, runs through May 6 featuring examples of the best art produced by students in Southwest Michigan high schools.
