Pretty Lake Vacation Camp in Mattawan is an awesome asset for the Kalamazoo community and has been since 1916! Pretty Lake Vacation Camp provides an 8-day, 7-night camping experience to children of Kalamazoo County that would not otherwise have such an opportunity.
Camp is free-of-charge. Everything that a child needs is provided including clothing, hygiene products, food, transportation, etc. Pretty Lake is funded by individual and business donations, grants, retreat revenue, Downtown Kiwanis Club, and the Junior League.
Consider renting Pretty Lake's Cabins or the Retreat Center for your next church retreat or family reunion. Camp also provides guests with wonderful food service allowing groups to concentrate on their program. Facility rental is available to guests mid-August through May. The natural setting makes Pretty Lake very peaceful and enjoyable.
Please consider renting from Pretty Lake... you can feel good that the revenue is used specifically to bring children to Camp! Camp isn't just for kids!!

Kalamazoo is a cool city because we have the Disability Resource Center at 517 East Crosstown Parkway. At the Disability Resource Center, we work to educate and empower people with disabilities to instigate change and achieve independence. We have peer support groups for people who have survived brain injuries and other disabilities.
