Taste of Kalamazoo 2009

The 24th annual Taste of Kalamazoo takes place downtown Kalamazoo on July 23-25, 2009. Hosted by the Kalamazoo Jaycees, this year's festival is sure to please. Every year, on the fourth weekend of July, thousands of hungry festival-goers flock to downtown Kalamazoo to enjoy the endless variety of foods prepared by Kalamazoo's most popular eateries. More than 30 local restaurants and chefs will offer mouth-watering combinations of ethnic items, family favorites, exotic dishes, and local specialties, attracting and feeding an average of 10,000 people per day in downtown Kalamazoo and totaling 25,000 - 30,000 attendees over the entire weekend.

Kalamazoo Blues Festival

What makes Kalamazoo a cool city? Events like the Kalamazoo Blues Festival. Three days of great music and wonderful history. There is no better place to learn about the history of blues music, have fun with tie-dye, balloons, instruments, chalk art, and arts and crafts!

Downtown Mixers on the Mall 2009

Downtown Kalamazoo's Mixers on the Mall are a middle of the week community social after hours on Wednesdays. A blend of music, co-workers, great weather, and good times happen each Wednesday from 5:00 until 7:30 starting June 10. Then plan to stay downtown for dinner. Save the following dates:

• July 1, 8, 15, 22, 29
• August 5, 12, 19, 26
